Justin Strickland

Vice President

 Justin is the younger son of Doyle Strickland, CCI's President. Like his dad he has been around the construction industry his entire life. He was always fascinated with his fathers work and accompanied him on many of CCI's job sites as a young boy. He began working part-time for his dad in high school.  He wanted to absorb all aspects of the business. He obtained his Level I Carpentry Certification through AGC in 2001. After graduating high school in 2001, he attended Georgia Southern University where he earned his construction degree. In 2006, he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management and with a Minor in Business Administration. He currently is Vice President of Coastal Construction, Inc. & is involved in all aspects of the business.

While Attending GSU, he was an active member of its Construction Management Guild. The CM Guild is a student organization associated with three professional Organizations: AGC/ASC, NAHB, and GUCA. He participated in two competitions which included the Heavy Civil Team in 2005; where they were awarded 2nd place in the Southeast US Regional Competition. In 2006, he competed with the NAHB team, where they were awarded 4th place in the Nation.

Justin completed the 30-hour OSHA training course in Construction Safety and Health in 2005. He also has his Georgia Soil & Water Commission Level 1A Certification. He is a 2008 Graduate of Leadership Camden. He is also actively involved in the Home Builders Association of Camden County serving as a Board Member, the Camden County Chamber of Commerce, and the Camden County High School Construction Advisory Board.

He is married to Kristin Strickland, they have two children, and reside together in St. Marys, GA since 2008.  They are members of First Baptist Church in St. Marys, GA.
